Accounts Payable Specialist

Summary of Job Duties: 

Assist in the operations of the Accounts Payable Department using an ERP computer system.

Specific Job Duties:

1. Mathematical and clerical work
2. Computer data entry, photocopying, filing and other miscellaneous clerical functions
3. Learn and use enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
4. Dispersing Mail/Filing
5. Processing Expense Reports
6. Matching invoices, PO’s, and packing slips
7. Printing and matching checks
8. Entering invoices into the ERP system
9. Processing Invoices
10. Be cross-trained in all accounts payable tasks
11. Perform all other duties as assigned by Threshold management

Minimum Qualifications Required:

1. Two years clerical experience in a high transactional volume environment.
2. High School Diploma or GED.
3. Acceptable grade of 50% or higher on Accounts Payable test.
4. 10-key by touch.

1. Experience working in a fast paced environment.
2. ERP Systems experience.
3. Demonstrated problem solving skills.
4. Strong interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work with multiple departments.
