Warehouse Associate - Scotts Valley

Summary of Job Duties: 

Warehouse associate is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of material. This may include functions of receiving, p0icking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and storage. Associate is responsible for the efficient flow of product from the point of receipt to internal and external customers.

Specific Job Duties:

1. Complete tasks such as unloading, receiving, picking, stocking, shipping, quality control of product and material.
2. Maintain and update all necessary work flow procedures, including but not limited to, company inventory management software (Navision) and company data bases.
3. Follow all necessary GMP and SOP procedures.
4. Supports other personnel to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of products – QC, Purchasing, Packaging and Manufacturing.
5. Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
6. Receive and move orders accurately in a timely and safe manner following company SOP and GMP procedures.
7. Operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.
8. Performs all other duties as assigned by Threshold management.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

1. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs in a physical environment
2. Accurately performs multiple operational tasks assigned to the team member
3. Must have a valid California Driver’s License
4. Must pass pre-employment test
5. Must be at least 18 years of age
6. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
7. Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, using a tape gun, hand-held scanner, bending or squatting

Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or GED required
2. 1 year of experience within a warehouse environment
3. Demonstrate effective oral/written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:span>

1. Computer literate
2. Forklift experience
